Who we are
This website is operated by Revay Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17311634), with its registered office at 17a Electric Lane, Brixton, London SW9 8LA.
Revay Ltd is the data controller for the personal information described in this policy. If you have any question about your data, contact us at privacy@revay.app.
The short version
- If you join the waitlist, we collect your email address (and your first name, if you give it) and use it to send you updates about Revay. Nothing else.
- If you email us, we keep your message only as long as needed to reply.
- We use Google Analytics to understand site traffic, but only if you accept analytics cookies through the banner.
- This website does not collect any health information.
- We never sell your data, and we never share it for advertising.
- You can unsubscribe or ask us to delete your data at any time.

What we collect, and why
When you join the waitlist. We collect your email address and, if you provide it, your first name. We also keep a record of when and how you gave consent, including your confirmation of the signup. We use this to send you occasional updates about Revay: what we’re building, and when you can try it. Our lawful basis is your consent. You can withdraw it at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email we send, or by contacting us.
When you contact us. If you email us, we hold your message and contact details for as long as needed to respond and follow up. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.
When you visit the website. Our hosting provider keeps standard technical logs (such as IP addresses and browser type) to keep the site secure and working. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in operating a secure website.
Analytics (only with your consent). If you accept analytics cookies through the banner, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the website is used: which pages people visit, how they found us, and general information about their device and browser. This involves cookies and online identifiers, which is why we ask first. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time through the cookie settings link on this site. If you decline, the website works exactly the same; we just don’t measure your visit.
What we don’t collect
No health information, ever, through this site. This website does not ask for, and you should not submit, any health information: no training data, cycle information, sleep, injury, or anything similar. When the Revay app launches, it will handle health data under its own privacy notice and its own explicit consent process, entirely separate from this website and the waitlist.
Who we share your data with
We use a small number of service providers to run this website and our waitlist. They process data on our instructions and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
Brevo manages our waitlist and sends our emails. It receives your email address, your first name (if given), and the record of your consent. Brevo is based in the European Union.
WordPress.com (Automattic Inc.) hosts this website. It receives standard technical data generated by your visit, such as your IP address and browser type.
Google (Google Analytics 4) provides our website analytics. If, and only if, you consent through the cookie banner, it receives usage data collected via cookies: pages visited, how you arrived at the site, and device and browser information, associated with an online identifier.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share it with advertisers or data brokers, and we do not use analytics data for advertising. We will disclose personal data only if required by law.
International transfers
Some of our providers, including Google and Automattic, are based outside the UK. Where that is the case, we rely on recognised safeguards, such as UK adequacy regulations, the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, to protect your data.
How long we keep your data
We keep your waitlist details until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them, or until 24 months have passed since our last meaningful contact with you, whichever comes first. If you unsubscribe, we may keep a minimal record of that request so we don’t contact you again. Enquiry emails are kept for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry, then deleted within 12 months. Analytics data is retained in Google Analytics for 14 months, after which it is deleted automatically.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:
- access a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- correct it if it’s wrong
- ask us to delete it
- restrict or object to how we use it
- receive your data in a portable format
- withdraw your consent at any time: unsubscribe from emails using the link in any email, and manage analytics cookies using the cookie settings link on this site
To exercise any of these rights, email [privacy@revay.app]. We will respond within one month.
If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We’d appreciate the chance to resolve it directly first.
Cookies
This website uses a small number of strictly necessary cookies to function, and optional analytics cookies that are set only if you accept them through the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time. Full details of every cookie, what it does, and how long it lasts are in our Cookie Policy.
Children
This website and the Revay waitlist are not directed at anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from under-16s. If you believe a child has given us their details, contact us and we will delete them.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your data, we’ll update this policy and change the date at the top. If the change is significant, we’ll email the waitlist before it takes effect.
